Brief
This is a research project at University of Michigan. I collaborated with students from UM School of Architecture and UM School of Information. By applying the idea of using Social Sensory Surface which was designed for child with Autism to encourage them to interact with the interface and the environment around them. I was responsible for concept design (including visual assets, music and the overall interaction design) to provide a multimodal experience with tactile, visual, and auditory senses.
I came up with different design proposals, presented them as sketches with the team. After several rounds of design refinement and team discussion, I made this video to demonstrate the final design concept.
